Aladdin
|
IMDB rating: 7.70 Plot: Aladdin is a street-urchin who lives in a large and busy town long ago with his faithful monkey friend Abu. When Princess Jasmine gets tired of being forced to remain in the palace that overlooks the city, she sneaks out to the marketplace, where she accidentally meets Aladdin. Under the orders of the evil Jafar (the sultan’s advisor), Aladdin is thrown in jail and becomes caught up in Jafar’s plot to rule the land with the aid of a mysterious lamp. Legend has it that only a person who is a “diamond in the rough” can retrieve the lamp from the Cave of Wonders. Aladdin might fight that description, but that’s not enough to marry the princess, who must (by law) marry a prince. |

It’s episode 57 of Hercules: The Animated Series called Hercules and the Arabian Night.
Sadly I don’t think Genie is in it, at least not his voice.

Are you guys going to see Disney's the Princess and the Frog it comes out in December 2009 bq look inside?
If this movie does well on the box office do you see another disney renissance coming up
If you guys don’t know what i mean by disney reniassance it was a period through out the 90’s decade in which disney movies were commerical success and hit box offices worldwide.
the Walt Disney Animation Studios returned to making successful animated films mostly based on fairy tales, recreating a public and critical interest in the Disney studio. These animated films include The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, and Tarzan.
Disney is going be releasing another film called the Princess and the Frog 2009 which will go back to the tradional 2D animation and classic broadway like music if this film does well on the box office do you think this will propel another Disney Renissance
To Peach i am talking about 2D movies with no Pixar when was the last time a 2D movie became a classic.
This is the first time Disney go back to it’s roots in six years so if you are a diseny fan and were around during the 90’s decade when 2D movies were hits every year this is a big deal.
I can see the movie going either way to tell the truth, lately Disney has been so hit and miss. The problem is a lot of people have lost faith in Disney as high quality animators, especially with the kind of animation you see on their TV channels.
I, personally, will go to see the film. From what I’ve seen it looks like it’s going to be really fun with great songs and the same wonderful animation I remember as a kid. I hope it does well, but like I said it could be hit and miss.
If the film does well financially I can see Disney getting the hint. If they do that then I’m sure we can expect to see more and more hand animated films and if they choose their storylines and voice actors right then I think they’ll be set for another round of fame and glory.

When has Disney NOT been a commercial success at the box office and worldwide? There’s this thing called Pixar, heard of it?
Even their movies like Hannah Montana have been great fiscal successes. You shouldn’t have put it as the dawning of a new era of financially successful movies (because Disney has always been successful, recall the pirates of the Caribbean trilogy which has each one in the top 20 grossing movies of all time) It may be an era of a return to traditional 2d animation, but it won’t be successful as Pixar. I will be seeing i though.
I was a Disney fan in the nineties, and am probably a bigger Disney fan than you will ever meet. I know every aspect of the company and movies and track them obsessively. And to answer, the last commercially successful Disney movie was Lilo and Stitch and Brother Bear (2002 and 2003 respectively.) It is not the big deal you are making it out to be because I don’t feel that The Princess and the Frog will be on par with movies form the nineties like The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast. And no offense, the nineties were not the dawning age of Disney that would be the 30s to 60s beginning with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs release in 1938. (Pinocchio, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Fantasia, Sleeping Beauty, etc.) I appreciate Disney’s attempt at creating a new 2d film but the trailers haven’t convinced me that this is the start of a new age of great 2d animation.

Might do, it sounds so sweet : )

I’m gonna see that movie as soon as it comes out. I’m so glad Disney’s back. Don’t get me wrong I love Pixar and all but they will never be able to replace the magic of the original ones.
vamploverbells | Aug 04, 2009
yeah, i want to see it!!!
mostley because it’s anime, I’m glad Disney is making new movies with animation again. Not like those other disney movies with Demi Lovato or Miley Cyrus. Honestly, I always liked those original movies with, The little Mermaid and PeterPan!!! LOL I’m happy now…hehehe
I wonder if they’re going to make, Kingdom Hearts a movie. I hope they do!!! XD

What would a nickel plated Colt Anaconda 44 mag be worth.?
This weapon is in excellent condition,
Your looking at 900-1100 in good shape. if you want to sell it let me know
Ryan H | Nov 20, 2009
I don’t think they made them in nickle plated. Yours is probably polished stainless steel (which is better).
I was never turned-on by the lockwork of the Anaconda. They look like Dan Wesson revolvers inside…not the Pythons that they look like outwardly.
I would say it is worth a mininum of $800…since there are not many floating around and Colt no longer makes them.
pagamenews | Nov 20, 2009
It would be worth gazillions, because none exist. It was only made in Stainless Steel or camo finish. What barrel length Is it, when was it produced, and is it bright or matte finish? According to the 30th ed. of the Blue book of Gun Values, a 100% specimen of a regular model (no engraving or limited edition or Colt Custom Shop) is $950 and $600 in 95% if made in 1999 or earlier. You do have the box & papers, right? Most dealers seem to have higher prices than that, and they try to up the value according to barrel length (6 inch is most common) and finish (camo & bright stainless is a premium). The Colt Custom Shop made up some between 2002-06 and they sell for more. I’ve fired six rounds at a gun expo out of an Anaconda and was amazed at the group I got @25 yards. They are really nice revolvers and don’t deserve to be safe queens. Check auctionarms.com or gunbroker.com to see what similar guns are going for.
Herbert | Nov 20, 2009
Since Colt is out of the revolver business, just about any Colt revolver in any condition will, at the present time, demand a premium. About $1000 or more, depending on how desperate the buyer is.

alot the cheapest one i saw was $1500 and that one was shot up pretty bad so if it is in good condition alot more
