Plot: Chris embarks on an odyssey of self-discovery that spans the globe. Kidnapped and enslaved by gun smugglers, sold by pirates and thrust into the murky underworld of gambling and kickboxing, Chris’ journey takes him to forbidding Muay Thai Island where deadly martial arts are taught, the colonial splendor of British East Asia, the dank back alleys of Bangkok, desolate deserts once trod by the warriors of Genghis Khan and finally, the ancient Lost City. There he must face the ultimate test of his manhood in the fabled Ghang-gheng, the ancient winner-take-all competition in which the deadliest fighters from around the world employ the most spectacular feats of martial arts skills ever displayed in order to win the prized Golden Dragon. But fighting prowess alone will not be enough for Chris to triumph over such daunting foes. He must reach deep inside and access all of the determination, strength of character and sense of selfless honor within in order to triumph over this final obstacle on his long trek home.

I have a question about World of Warcraft, if you have played it…?
Would you say in terms of the amount of freedom you have to wander that it is more comparable to Fable 2, or to Oblivion? Or neither and it is different of both of them?

If you want to play it to just wander about and look into places alone, is this something you can do or is it mostly geared to joining a faction and going on quests that are given to you by NPC’s, etc??

I like Oblivion and Morrowind but I hated Fable 2. So I do not want to pay and waste the time if it is not a game I will ever want to bother with.

Thank you!!

you have the freedom to go just about anywhere, depending on the level of your character. there are quests to do to bring up reputaion and experience. give it a try, the worst that could happen is becoming addicted to it. there is a 10 day free trial you can download from their website.

I haven’t played either of those games, so I can’t compare it to them for you.
You join a faction as part of the character creation, alliance or horde. They definitely encourage you to do quests, but you don’t have to. It may involve a lot of ghost runs, but you can go wherever you want. (I’m pretty sure that in any game, as a level 1 character, it is not advisable to go to areas with aggressive level 30 npc’s. It is possible, just spending alot of time dead trying it.)
The game also is designed to encourage social interacting: professions require mats that other professions make & some quests require multiple players.

Ultimately, try the 10-day trial to find out if its right for you.
