My dogs don't get along, what can I do?
I have had my dog for five years know (Caca Spaniel mixed with a Poodle) But about 7 or 8 months ago my brother got a Pitbull, I think the Pit was 2 or 3 months old when my bro got him. At first everything was going great, sometimes, but know the Pit is much bigger and jumps on top of my dog. The Pit is kinda still a puppy, he is a very sweet dog, and I know he is just trying to let my dog know his the boss. But today it went to far, the Pit bit my dogs mouth making it bleed. When I was told I went out side to check on him, I open the garage door and right away the Pit jumped on him, so I pick my dog up. We cant keep them separated forever, but for now we have to because I don’t want my dog to get killed. But isn’t there a way we can make then get along without spending money on a trainer? I will be very thankful if someone gave me guidance on what to do. Or if someone knows a lot about Pits behavior when they are little.

No, your family needs to spend money on a trainer. This Pit Bull is out of control and someone needs to help your family learn how to control it. Someone needs to find the $75 or whatever it is for an hour private lesson and get it done. With just one class, your family can learn how to correct the dog properly.
If you guys don’t get on this, I suspect that something major is going to happen. Whether that’s the Pitg Bull killing your dog or the Pit Bull getting so out of control that he ends up at a shelter, where he will be killed.
The money you spend on PROPER training will be an investment on the future of these two dogs. It needs to be done immediately.
In addition, if the Pit Bull isn’t getting at least 2 hours of exercise a day, someone needs to step it up and do this.
