Change in sex drive….. details to follow?
During the past 2 years of my 6 year relationship, I wasn’t at all interested in sex, I put this down to ill health and being depressed, but since being single in August this year, I have stopped taking the pill, I’m a thousand times happier, and my sex drive has returned with a vengeance! I now know I probably just didnt fancy my ex anymore, and I’m happy single, but I really miss having sex. Its been 6 months since I last had sex and its all I think about, its driving me crazy, especially because I keep having really hot dreams about the guy I like, I just cant stop thinking about him/sex/both. Surely this cant be normal? I cant remember the last time I felt so "up for it!"
Also, I’m unsure how much of this is down to being off the contraceptive pill, clearly I dont want to remain off the pill forever, but I dont want it to cause another dramatic change and send my sex drive plummeting again, does anyone know whether the implant has similar side effects to the pill? Please help! Thanks.
